About Alice and Ella

Alice and Ella met 2 years ago, when Ella joined thinkpublic where they both now work.

Alice likes writing letters, spending time with older people, eating vegetables, going on holiday with her nan, hulahooping, making things better, using design to facilitate change. She loves writing to make sense of the world which involves a lot of list making. She loves imagining and has a completely naive optimistic view of how things will be one day.

Ella is a keen vegetable grower, and story book enthusiast. Ella also very much enjoys talking to people and creating nice thing (like scarfs and finger puppets). Ella loves to draw and believes that visualisation is a very important thing to help people figure stuff out. She likes tree-houses, and would one day like to build one (or something similar) to live in. Ella is also a huge fan of young people who have not yet learnt how to fear things.

Together Alice and Ella decided to form a collective, to create a space to really explore some stuff they are really excited about. Its just the 2 of us at the minute, but it keeps our costs low. The Strive for Happiness is the start of Alice and Ella’s next adventure. Alice and Ella like adventures.

* This is what Alice thinks of Ella – Ella is really quite magical. She has the most amazing smile and energy that just might give you the belief that you could achieve absolutely anything, if you really wanted to. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she grows the most fabulous courgettes.

** This is what Ella thinks of Alice – Alice doesn’t realise her own power and influence. She will one day be Prime Minster, and that will be the day when things will make sense and people will be kind. Alice is an exceptional human being and Ella is very glad to have met her. She’s very important and also very nice to spend time with.
